Invitation

Dear Candidates:

If I could use one word to define entrepreneurship, it would be Change.

Entrepreneurship involves identifying, evaluating, and pursuing opportunities that create economic and social value in the marketplace. In essence, an entrepreneur changes the way people choose goods and services through innovation, leadership, and creativity. And that is exactly the goal of Lehigh’s International Undergraduate Workshop: to teach you how to address technical issues in a business context from an entrepreneurial focus by providing hands-on, project-based experiences.

I would like to personally invite you to attend this real-world program that focuses on the four pillars of change: Leadership, Communication, Teamwork, and Critical Thinking. All of the activities, speakers, coursework, company visits, projects, round-table discussions, and cultural experiences are designed around these four key attributes which will change the way you investigate opportunities and design solutions. This customer-focused, market-driven approach to problem solving will change buying habits and customer behavior; open new markets and create new initiatives; and ultimately change the way you react to new ideas.

Come to Lehigh University and learn how to change the world!

Sincerely,

Pat J. Costa
Professor, Entrepreneurship
